How do I purchase meat here?

We try to make purchasing meat online as simple as we can while keeping the costs reasonable for you. We could estimate our package sizing and round up to ensure our costs are covered but we don't want you paying for something you are not getting. 

Our Bulk Meats (beef and pork) as well as our Boxes are all a flat rate, and usually have an 8-15% discount over buying cuts individually. These are simple

1. you add them to your cart

2. Checkout,  If you have a discount code it is added here, and enter your address for shipping or select local delivery/on farm pickup.

3. We ship the items the following Wednesday. If you are a local pickup, we message you when we have your order packaged and arrange a pick-up time. Typically we take a few days to get orders together however, if you need it in a rush, please make a note in the comments or send us an email. 

Our Individual Cuts are a bit different. As each package size varies slightly, we took an average weight and calculated a deposit. That is the price that shows up on the product page.

2. Checkout. If you have a discount code it is added here, and shipping charges are calculated once you enter your address for shipping or select local delivery/on farm pickup.

3. When we get your order and package it up from the freezer, we weight each package and calculate the total bill. We then subtract your paid deposit and get the balance owing. If your order is to be shipped, this is due by etransfer prior to shipping. It is payable by cash, check, or etransfer for local pickups and deliveries.

There are a million ways this could be done, and we are all ears if you find this simple, complicated, or frustrating. We wanted to make sure the meat costs were reasonable and accurate, the last thing we wanted was to take advantage of anyone.
