I am a senior that lives by herself, the ham, roast and chicken breast were to much for me, the sausage was very good

What we have had so far has been very good.

Why this Box? Stress-free School lunches, that's why.

There's nothing quite like the challenge of packing school lunches.

Will the kids like it? Will they eat it? Does it fit with the classroom allergy list? Will it stay hot, or be good cold? Is it healthy? Will it fuel their mind and body so they can learn?

These are the things we hear all the time from our friends and other parents. So we decided to put together a box with all the things our kids love for their lunches. We cook these up on a Sunday night, and have them sliced and ready to go. And for the days that we don't plan ahead, we threw in our favourite last minute lunch go-to's.

Our kids love ham and roast beef sandwiches, bacon and cheese sandwiches, wraps, sausages and noodles, taco in a bag, homemade lunchables, just to name a few. And the best thing about these lunch ideas? There's no worrying about kids sharing lunches, everything here is gluten free and good for them.

We are also partnering with the Boissevain School Playground Fundraising group to help with the new school play structures. The committee decided to create a cookbook, with all the students contributing the recipes, artwork, and all the content. $10 for each box will be going back to the school for this equipment!

We are a Family, and we Get It

School Lunches can be a challenge. Between kid's tastes changing hourly (it seems), allergy restrictions at school, things that stay hot, or cold, and just the right texture, packing a school lunch can be hard at best.

We found a way to make that easy. So we wanted to share that with you.

Evergreen Alley Farms

We are working hard to make the transition into a regenerative style of management. We know that we can raise meats that are not only tasting better, but also higher in nutrition, and give back to our soils and lands, allowing them to heal and regrow at the same time.

We know if we can build a sustainable farm, we can provide a sustainable food source for your family too.

Product FAQ

Ask us Anything. We want you to have complete peace of mind with a purchase from us.

Can we change what is in our box?

The boxes are set but you are welcome to add anything you'd like from the Shop All menu to your order.

How much are we saving?

On average, getting a box will save you 10+% vs buying individual cuts. Combine that with a first order discount and you end up getting a much better quality product at a great price.

What are the animals fed?

The livestock at Evergreen Alley are fed a combination of feeds depending on the stage of growth. Chickens are fed special feed for chicks and electrolytes until they are 3 weeks old, then they move outdoors and feed a grain and supplement mix.

The cattle spend as much time on pasture as we can in the favourable seasons, then hay and cover crop bales in the winter. For the final 60 days they are fed a bit more grain with their forages, this helps give that marbling in the meat without the superficial fat.

The pigs spend most of their time outside, with their mom's for the first 3 weeks. (Winter babies get to be inside until they are ready for the cold). Then they are fed a mixture of grains and supplement and kitchen scraps (their favourite!).

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately due to the perishable nature meat and eggs we are unable to offer a refund. We try our best to package everything in a way that ensures a safe arrival. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please reach out to us. We want to know what went wrong so we can improve our system and your experience.
