  • Why These Pork Chops Work

Most grocery pork chops are thin, inconsistent, and easy to overcook. These are different. Bone-in chops hold moisture better and cook more evenly, which makes them easier to get right. They’re thick enough to stay juicy and simple enough to cook without second-guessing yourself. This is the kind of meat that lets supper come together without stress.

Good to Know

Cooking Note: Keep It Simple

Salt, pepper, and heat is enough. Pan, oven, or grill all work well. Bone-in chops are more forgiving — just don’t overcook them and let them rest before serving.

Stored Right, Ready to Use

These chops have been held in a consistent commercial freezer, which keeps them in good condition over time. They’ve been stored properly and are being offered as a limited batch. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

What You’re Getting

Approximately 11 pounds of bone-in pork chops, divided into about 10 packages, with 2 chops per pack. Each package is portioned for a simple meal, so you can take out exactly what you need without thawing more than necessary.

How to Use Them

Ideal for weeknight suppers when you want something straightforward. These chops cook well in a pan, oven, or on the grill, and pair easily with simple sides like potatoes or vegetables. They’re the kind of cut you can rely on without planning too far ahead.

Why Bone-In Matters

The bone helps regulate heat during cooking and adds flavor to the meat. That’s why bone-in chops tend to stay juicier and cook more evenly than boneless cuts. It also gives you a bit more room for error if timing isn’t perfect.

Freezer Friendly

These are packaged so you can use them a couple at a time instead of thawing the whole box. That makes them easy to work into your regular routine without waste or extra planning.

Limited Availability

This is a one-time batch that was held properly in our commercial freezer and is being offered as a limited run. Once these boxes are sold, they won’t be restocked in this format.

Fair Warning: These Don’t Sit in the Freezer Long

You’ll think this box will last a while. It won’t. These are the chops you grab when you don’t feel like thinking about supper, and suddenly you’re cooking them two or three times a week. Next thing you know, you’re digging around the freezer wondering where they all went.

Comfort food is farm raised family food

Many people's first impression of a farm is "Old MacDonald had a farm" with a list of all the animals therein. Cattle, pigs, chickens, and goats are just some of the animals that create the diversity at Evergreen Alley. Each has their place here, contributing to the farm both in the soil and on the table. We want to make sure our livestock are both healthy and happy.

With so many things going on in one’s life, the less you have to worry about the better. We put our efforts into developing incredible meats so you can cook your meals knowing that the livestock at Evergreen Alley are well cared for and given the best life they can have.

  • Meat in the Freezer

We’ve all been there; bad day, no sleep, fussing kids, work runs late. The kind of day where supper needs to be easy. Pull something from the freezer, throw it in the over or slow cooker and walk away. You can do that when you have a stocked up freezer.

Mom’s meatballs? Bacon and eggs? Easy peasy pork chops? We got you.

  • The Little Things that Matter

We raise our animals in a way that is beneficial for all. The cattle fertilize the land, the people are healthier for being outside and taking care of them, the butchering is done by a small family business in our local area. You can know that every dollar you spend is going directly to another family.

  • Value and Cost

Long term savings are the key here that let you become the winner. When you commit to a subscription we can pass that savings onto you. Our goal is to get meat to you that has higher nutritional value and flavour at bulk meat prices.

We hear this all the time, and sometimes we find ourselves saying it too. But we always have to ask ourselves two things; are the things in that freezer good for you? And secondly, how long have they been there?

So many times we are spending valuable freezer space on things that are not good for us, or on things we may never eat anyway. We always try to remind ourselves that if its something we won't use, we might as well put something in the freezer that we will.

When freezer space is at a premium then a meat box is your perfect solution. You get the benefits of having bought bulk meat (variety and price point) without having to store a couple hundreds pounds all at once. You will be able to use up each months order and never have to wonder what the mystery package is in the back bottom corner is.
