Delivering nutrients straight from the farm to your door

Life is too short to settle for bad sausages.

There is nothing that saves a "forgot to meal plan" day like sausages. Quick to thaw, quick to cook, and useful in any recipe or meal.

All of these are gluten free, 50% beef and 50% pork, and will make your neighbours jealous.

Need Recipe Ideas?

We have started a Pinterest page with recipes that we've found and loved. While that is handy for online sources, there are many recipes that are family recipes. These have been passed along and we hope to have a page on the site for those, one day. But in the meantime, click the button below to be taken to the Evergreen Alley Meals Pinterest page.

  • Making Memories

The time to make memories is precious, we want to make sure each time is legendary for all the right reasons.

  • Buying Nutrients

Our bodies need nutrients, not fillers. You know where your food is coming from when you buy directly from a farm. No questions, full transparency. You can come visit anytime.

  • Farm Life is Real

Sometimes it's messy, chaotic, and not contained to the barn. But we let you get the benefits of farm raised meats without having calves in your house.

Nutrients are what we really need, not just calories.

We can't say it enough, Nutrition just tastes better

What are your animals fed?

The livestock at Evergreen Alley are fed a combination of feeds depending on the stage of growth. Chickens are fed special feed for chicks and electrolytes until they are 3 weeks old, then they move outdoors and feed a grain and supplement mix.

The cattle spend as much time on pasture as we can in the favourable seasons, then hay and cover crop bales in the winter. For the final 60 days they are fed a bit more grain with their forages, this helps give that marbling in the meat without the superficial fat.

The pigs spend their time outside, with their mom's for the first 3 weeks. Then they are fed a mixture of grains and supplement and kitchen scraps (their favourite!).

Where can you ship your meats to?

With this launch online we are delivering to Brandon, Boissevain, Killarney, and Deloraine MB. We are so very very close to being able to ship across Canada that it's just a matter of days!

If you are from a distance and are interested in ordering, just send us your email address for a shipping quote.

How are the meats shipped?

All of the meats are packaged in a box with a insulated liner and a cold pack. Everything is frozen and taken to the courier early in the week to ensure it gets to the destination before the weekend.

What other products do you carry?

We are looking at launching a variety of meat bundles and packages. We want everyone to experience the benefits of quality meats like they were on the farm themselves (without the work of course). We have launched a Christmas box, Easter box, and are planning a Father's Day box as well. We are also wanting to design collections that are Quick and Easy, Harvest Crew, Kids Choice (Madelyn and Sam loved making this one), Smoking and Grilling, Pioneer, as well as a Summer/Winter boxes.

For now we are offering all of our cuts individually so you can pick and choose what you like.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately due to the perishable nature meat and eggs we are unable to offer a refund. We try our best to package everything in a way that ensures a safe arrival. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please reach out to us. We want to know what went wrong so we can improve our system and your experience.

Why do we do this?

There's only 3% of the population that produces food. There are so many farms out there that create and grow amazing products and we want to make sure you can find what they have to offer.

Shopping local means you are helping a family keep their family farm, helping to repair buildings, putting their kids into 4H, sports, all of which supports small towns and businesses.

Why do we need to eat meats?

Red meat is a nutrient dense food providing important amounts of protein, essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are the most common nutrient shortages in the world, including vitamin A, iron, and zinc.

Despite claims by the World Health Organization (WHO) that eating processed meat causes colon cancer and red meat probably causes cancer, the observational data used to support the claims are weak, confounded by multiple unmeasured factors, and not supported by other types of research needed for such a conclusion. (Thank you to https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7015455/ for this research).

We want to feed our kids the most nutrients possible and we know you do too.

Birth to BBQ, we've raised it and know it.

We have raised all of the beef animals butchered here at Evergreen Alley Farms. We sourced our animals from local producers, raise them in local pastures, and butcher them locally as well. They've gotten nicknames, we know which one likes to sneak out of the fence (we're talking to you #103), and we know who has been medicated or not. As such, we know which we sell for meat in our direct sales lines and which we don't.
