Amazing taste

Those pork chops were so yummy. The pork had taste, even the fat had taste! We took them camping with us and grilled them on the bbq! They were melt in your mouth delicious! I will definitely be purchasing them again!

Chicken Livers

Chicken livers are a real delicacy for the "man of the house" here. We just received some from Everygreen Alley farms and TMOTH said that words could not describe how good they were. I dredge the livers in flour and fry them in some butter or margarine along with some chopped onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Brown on medium - high heat and then cover to finish cooking. Hubby says "Yum, yum"! and also "Down right good!"

We get eggs regularly delivered by Evergreen Alley Farms. The quality is exceptional and they are lighter coloured yolks like we like. The best thing is that they are so fresh they do not run all over the pan. Another great thing is the little visits we get with the delivery person and we can appreciate how hard Alicia, Brian, Madelyn, Sam, Terry and Joan work to give us "our daily meal".

The all time BEST chicken breasts!!

The chicken breasts you get from evergreen alley are truly the best chicken breasts you’ll ever get! This is only my second time getting them, however each time they never disappoint! In fact, these chicken breasts will exceed your expectations!
For starters, each breast is HUGE!! Once you cut it open you can so clearly tell that they’re actually good for you, as there is a huge comparison from store bought, vs evergreen alley’s in size and how it looks, you can almost see the protein in evergreen alleys chicken breasts. The taste is so so much better. And when I mentioned this to them they were very knowledgeable about what the human body needs. Their meats are made to meet the nutrients the human body needs, not made for profit. Absolutely love evergreen alleys meats and will continue to purchase here to fill my body with GOOD food.

Our Story - Comfort food is farm raised family food.

Brian's dream of Evergreen Alley started with "chicken math". A neighbour was rehoming their laying flock so Brian got those, then grew to meat birds, after which pigs were added. A couple steers for the family's freezers were added in recent years and, as it goes, if you're feeding 3 why not 10? The responses to the meats we had produced and sold were so impressive that we wanted to make it available to more people. Brian was a single parent for some time and very quickly realized how much easier meal times are with good quality meat. So here we are, creating and delivering meats in family friendly packages so everyone can have farm quality meat on their tables.

Limited Freezer Space?

The unique feature of Evergreen Alley is our ability to get you a variety of meats, cuts, and proteins without hogging your freezer space up. We've all lost something in the bottom of a large freezer or been unable to purchase bulk meat direct from a farm because we can't store it and use it all up in a timely manner. Selecting a meat box that suits your needs gives you a variety of proteins. Putting your order on a subscription ensures that you have a steady and reliable source of fresh farm healthy meats for your family.

What if I only want one meat variety?

The Summer Meat Box is a mixed protein box, we do plan on launching other options as we grow. So please reach out to us and let us know what you're looking for!

Do we medicate our animals?

 Yes we do, however we want to make sure they are as healthy as possible without the medications first. When animals are raised outdoors and fed as naturally as possible, they develop a stronger immune system.

Any animal that is medicated is removed from the general food bound chain so it doesn't end up in your body.

How do I cook these?

We keep our cooking simple and easy. Salt and pepper seasoning, oven, slow cooker, or grilling. Simple classic family recipes often leave lots of room for the flavour of the meats to shine through.

How local are you?

We are based out of Boissevain MB. Our herds are sourced from local ranchers so the animals are well adapted to our environment. We process our large meats at a local facility within 20 minutes of our home and some we do ourselves. We want to make sure that all the resources are spent directly to families and small businesses within our community at large.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately due to the perishable nature meat and eggs we are unable to offer a refund. We try our best to package everything in a way that ensures a safe arrival. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please reach out to us. We want to know what went wrong so we can improve our system and your experience.
